Reactivate Your Diving Skills with Confidence
Getting back into diving after time away? Our Reactivate course is designed specifically for certified divers who want to refresh their knowledge and rebuild their confidence before returning to open water adventures. This comprehensive program combines modern learning techniques with hands-on practice to ensure you're fully prepared for your next underwater experience.
Online Academic Review
The course begins with convenient online academics that you can complete at your own pace from home. Through interactive modules and engaging content, you'll review essential diving theory, safety protocols, and equipment procedures. The digital platform covers everything from dive planning and underwater communication to emergency procedures and environmental awareness. This flexible approach allows you to refresh your theoretical knowledge thoroughly before moving to the practical components.
Confined Water (Pool) Skills Practice
Following your online review, we'll meet at our pool facility for confined water training sessions where tanks and weights are provided. Here, you'll practice fundamental diving skills in a controlled, comfortable environment. Our certified instructors will guide you through equipment assembly, buoyancy control, mask clearing, regulator recovery, and emergency procedures. This hands-on practice helps rebuild muscle memory and confidence, ensuring your skills are sharp and automatic before you venture back into open water diving adventures.
Student Equipment Requirements
Per PADI standards, students must have access to a complete set of scuba equipment including regulator system, buoyancy control device (BCD), exposure suit appropriate for local conditions, submesible pressure gauge. Rental equipment is available at MIDWEST SCUBA and must be picked up on Friday or Saturday prior to your pool session to ensure proper fit and familiarity. All rental gear must be returned by Tuesday or Wednesday following the pool session.
Personal Gear & Special Pricing
Students are required to provide their own mask, fins/boots, and snorkel as these items require individual fitting for safety and comfort. While these items aren't available for rental, we offer them at special student pricing to ensure you have properly fitted personal equipment for your diving adventures.
